The sweepstakes are open to all United States college and university instructors or adjunct instructors 18 years of age and older, except for the employees and their families of CourseSmart, LLC (the "Sponsor") and the Sponsor's members, affiliates, divisions, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective agents. The sweepstakes is subject to all U.S. laws and is void wherever restricted by law.

Prizes: 4 winners will be randomly drawn on Friday, June 5, 2009, each eligible to claim a prize. One (1) prizewinner will be eligible to claim a $1,000 US cash prize; the remaining three (3) prize winners will each be eligible to claim a $500 US cash prize. The prizewinners will be notified via their provided email addresses to claim their prize and must respond with acceptance within a 7-day period. If a prizewinner does not claim his or her prize during this period, it will be forfeited and a new prizewinner will be randomly drawn.

By claiming a prize, the prizewinner agrees that the prize is awarded upon the condition that neither the Sponsor nor its members, affiliates, directors, employees, agents and/or advertising and promotional agencies, will have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind related to participation in the sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of the prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the sweepstakes, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical malfunctions, unavailable network connections, or failed, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes.

Acceptance of the prize shall constitute the winner's agreement that CourseSmart, LLC may use and/or display the winner's name, address, likeness, biographical information and/or prize information without limitation for promotional purposes without further consideration where not prohibited by law.

The sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, and each entrant agrees that the state and federal courts in California shall be the exclusive venue for the resolution of any disputes arising in connection with the sweepstakes.

Odds of winning depend on number of entries received.

Taxes on the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
